In 1998, a dear friend set me up with Microsoft Frontpage and a domain name, bidding me to do as I pleased. What I built was naive, brave, sexy and remarkably innocent despite also being extremely graphic. I kept it up, but Microsoft Frontpage went the way of the dodo around 2011 and I was left with something that quickly grew out of date, out of touch and out of reach. Goth boy went to sleep. I’ve long hoped to bring something similar to light as a vessel for my creative energy, despite never learning the way of such things. It’s not really in my wheelhouse. But I still have the friend. And since the days of my old endeavor I’ve had a partner who knows way more about this stuff than I do. Suffice it to say that I’m clawing my way back out of the dark as best I can. And hopefully goth boy will wake up soon in a brand new world.
